New York’s Standard newspaper has a big piece on the ongoing coronaviruses.

And the Times’ chief news editor, Nicholas Kristof, is not averse to saying it.

The paper, which had previously made headlines with an article by the Times about the potential for a pandemic in Africa, has a front-page story on Tuesday on the virus.

“The risk of a pandemics like this is a great one,” Kristof writes.

“And we’re seeing evidence of that already, including in New York City, which has seen a rise in coronaviral cases since the start of this outbreak.
