A soldier has died in clashes in the Hebron district of the occupied West Bank.
It comes after three Palestinian protesters were killed by Israeli soldiers, including a woman who had been shot in the chest.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of the soldier in the eastern Hebron city of Hebron.
The death comes just days after Israeli forces shot dead a 19-year-old Palestinian man, who was reportedly carrying a knife.
Israeli troops shot and killed 17-yearold Mohammed al-Sudani in the same Hebron village, which is under Palestinian control.
A Palestinian woman was also killed in the incident, the Palestinian Ministry said.
Israeli forces reportedly attacked al-Mughrabiya village in the nearby village of Khirbet Qaddum and opened fire at civilians, killing three and wounding three others.
Israel’s Channel 10 television reported that the soldiers opened fire when al-Sha’ar was moving through the village.
The Palestinians said the shooting occurred on Friday, but Israel has not confirmed the claim.
Al-Suds reported that a woman in al-Sharqiya village in Hebra said she was hit in the head with a rubber-coated steel bullet.
Israeli soldiers were reportedly investigating the shooting, the military said in a statement.
Earlier this month, the Israeli army said a Palestinian was killed by an Israeli settler who was on a motorcycle during an incident in the West Bank city of Nablus.
The incident took place in the Qalandiya neighborhood of Nabi Saleh, the statement said.
